Laatste strofe =princestrofe. Wijsaanduidingen ELDERS uit Joris GLb1582. De melodie is de korte vorm van Les Bouffons, maar in driedelige maat. Het is echter zeer de vraag of dit de oorspronkelijke melodie is: de Bouffons lijken van na Joris' tijd (Brown noemt bronnen vanaf 1552) en deze late heruitgave Joris GLb1576 lijkt sowieso nieuwe, alternatieve melodieën te geven.
