Onderschrift: 1619.
Leerintveld 2014, 76, 79-80 stelt dat Reinier Telle stierf in 1618 en het gezien de historische context van het lied dus de vraag is of hij de auteur ervan was. Volgens Leerintveld is het lied ook overgeleverd in een los handschrift, voorheen opgenomen in de pamfletten-verzameling van de KB (Knuttel 3060), later onder signatuur KW 78 H 65, en komt het voor in een pamflet uit 1621 (Knuttel 3253 en 3254): Latijnsche Aen-spraeck van Mr. Hugo de Groot aen De Kist [...] [...] Met noch een Liedeken van Hollandtsche Tuyn [...].
